Creating
a Virtual School Store *A Web Design Webquest adapted by Mr. Penza HOLYNAME
JR. SR. HIGH SCHOOL
Introduction The Holy Name school store needs a boost. Many of the students don’t realize how many
quality items can be purchased in the store.
After much discussion, the administration has decided that a new
virtual storefront would greatly enhance the schools’ potential operating
profit. At the same time, school
spirit can be strengthened by offering Napoleon branded mascots and
accessories. The administration has heard of your astounding web design skillset. The
call has gone out and you are ready to accept the challenge to create the new
school store web site! CONGRATULATIONS! Once you finish the design, you and your team will choose the graphics
for the site and using your HTML coding skills, create a functional web
site. You will then develop a
PowerPoint presentation to explain the web site to your classmates. Each group will create their own web site and present their
solution. The sites will then be voted
on by the class. The winner will be
recommended as the official school Virtual Storefront and displayed as a link
on our School Web site. You will have two weeks to complete this assignment. This is considered a major project
resulting in 2 test grades for the current term. Have fun, be creative
